History
Ma.GI. S.r.l. has been producing kitchen units for over
40 years. Constructing kitchens is the passion which runs
through all 40 years of the history of MA.GI., a company
which has evolved over the years without ever losing sight
of the fundamental role undertaken by the people within it.
The company puts its inheritance of craftsman knowledge at
the service of “made in Italy” modern production technology,
reacting quickly to changes in the habits and tastes of
different generations, showing a capacity for evolution and
development, without ever abandoning its artisan roots.
The company’s upward progress has been made possible by
the guarantee of an excellent quality-price ratio, assisted by efficient post-sales services, all guaranteed by the highest
levels of professionalism from a company which has been
present in the kitchen sector for 40 years.
Strenghts

Our strengths are the rapidity of deliveries and the
flexibility with which we are able to satisfy the requirements
of our individual customers. An ability which we have
maintained constant, despite producing an ever higher
number of kitchens. The inheritance of handicraft has
encountered technological innovation and management
efficiency and this mix allows the requirements of every
customer to be satisfied at any moment as regards speedy
deliveries, competitive costs and tailor-made production
giving life to kitchens with a high quality value as regards
aesthetics, functionality and reliability and which are
long-lasting, whilst at the same time maintaining an
excellent quality-price ratio which allows us to keep our
prices competitive. Over the last 15 years, the company
has made important investments in production processes,
technological innovation and management efficiency,
whilst still well aware that it is people that make the
difference. A respect of individual employees which is
demonstrated by an extremely low turnover, by the entry
of new generations linked through family relationships and
by the deep connection with the factory which is even rooted
in the new generation, creating a tight network of family
as regards management and employees. Whilst the baton
is still safely in the hands of the founder, his successors have
been taking on managerial roles for several years.
Over time, the company has always attempted to qualify
its offer, searching to reposition itself in order to avoid
direct comparison with low-cost foreign products, and has
considered the standards obtained up until this moment
as binding. It will continue to be directed towards a mass
market, supplying products which are ever more functional
and ensuring competitive prices.
The sector to which it refers is therefore the market area in
which it is possible to find the best quality/price ratio; on the
basis of the style, manufacturing technology and materials
used, it manages to cover both different business areas:
“Traditional” with classic kitchens in the style and market
niche of masonry and country-style compositions designed
for a customer with more sophisticated tastes and “Modern”
with modern, contemporary kitchens which are designed for
a target customer who prefers functionality and innovation.
Distribution
In order to market the products, we have a distribution
network which includes over 400 qualified dealers, assisted
by a strong presence of agents and executives who are
committed to creating a relationship built on trust with
each individual customer. Moreover, over the past few years,
thanks to internationalization processes, the company has
gone beyond the Italian territory, experiencing numerous
successes aboard.
For the diffusion of its products, the company chooses entry
strategies which allow it to be very present in the points of
sale through the exhibition of its models because only in this
way is it possible to fully appreciate, thoroughly analyze and
touch the excellent qualities of the kitchens with your hands.
The company’s future strategies are aimed not only at
continually reinforcing relationships with customers
but also at consolidation and pushing forward the
internationalization processes.
Production
Our production, continually in search of experimentation
in aesthetic solutions which are functional at the same time,
does not neglect other aspects, paying attention to respect
for the environment, product safety and innovations in the
sector, in view of continuous improvement. Research into
new variants of colours and materials, and experimentation
with components rely only on products which guarantee
high standards of quality and Italian design, and this is
guaranteed by close ten-year relationships with suppliers
which are recognized on an international scale and are
leaders in their sectors.
The project
The basis of the creation of new models and the process of
devising them is composed of studies of a statistical and sales
nature; the conception of a kitchen model originates from
the in-depth analysis of the market, trends, preferences of
the public and the needs to be met.
The development of the plan therefore follows the
identification of the functional aesthetic principles, and is
the phase in which the creation of a prototype allows us to
evaluate all the different aspects related to the feasibility
of the product and allows us to verify its strengths and
weaknesses, and the study of methodologies to proceed with
any modifications.
The design of the model takes place at our technical offices
with the collaboration of graphic and other designers and
architects, through the use of Autocad/3Cad engineering
systems, optimized for furniture recognized at an
international level.
The last step is represented by the creation of the photographic
preview in prestigious studios which carry out services
for various furniture industries and the model is finally
presented to the network of agents who deal with offering
the kitchen to all our dealers.
The production process relative to the orders in the portfolio
is carried out at our plant, equipped with line machinery
which is the result of modern technologies which allow us to
work as quickly as possible, and guarantee the same level of
flexibility for the movement of production outside the line.
Moving thousands of packages a day, each package is labelled
with a barcode system which ensures that each individual
piece can be traced throughout all the production phases
which lead to delivery to the customer.
We therefore take the same care we take when producing
the furniture while making up the packages, reconciling
the requirement for speed with the need for reliability
when handling the various packages in the loading and
unloading operations, that is to say thanks to the continued
effort in training personnel who give results in terms of the
reduction of breakages.
For transportation to the customer, the company relies on
operators in the transportation sector which are qualified
and specialized in transporting furniture.
